Teams from Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine took part in the tournament. Playoff Arena created Latvian refugee team (played mostly by Ukrainians), and organised the training process and the national team's participation in the European Refugee Championships, held in Frankfurt (Euro Unity Cup 2023). The team finished 5th out of 16 teams, losing only to the champions, Finland (0:1). Germany (3-0), France (5-1) and Ukraine (2-1) won the tournament.
